Poettker Industrial Services Increases Its 2025 Revenue by 20%

St. Louis, Mo., December 16, 2025 – Poettker Industrial Services, a woman-owned business specializing in utility and renewable energy construction, increased its 2025 revenue by 20% and grew its employee base by over 35%. After only four years of operation, Poettker Industrial already achieved recognition as the 37th Top Midwest Specialty Contractor by Engineering News-Record Midwest.

With safety as a Core Value, the Poettker Industrial team completed over 125,000 work hours without a lost-time incident and won the prestigious Ameren Eagle and Best In Class-High Volume awards for its outstanding performance in safety, execution, leadership, and commitment to quality work. The team also self-performed over 30% of its 85 contracts in 2025.

Much of Poettker Industrial’s projects include infrastructure work for electrical substations and transmission lines. In 2025, Poettker Industrial built 3,954 substation foundations across 461 acres and 1,074 transmission towers over 215 miles.

Poettker Industrial executed projects across six states, seven of which were renewable energy projects. For these projects, the team and trade partners are building foundations, resurfacing the area, driving piles, and installing below-grade electrical for new solar fields.

Continuing the community outreach legacy of Schlautman’s father, Charles an annual golf classic benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Illinois. With 70 participating teams and 38 Gold Sponsors, the event raised $61,000 for the nonprofit organization. Poettker also supports Junior Achievement as a Program Sponsor of the JA Trades STEAM Experience, an interactive learning experience that teaches students about trade career opportunities.
